The school lockers. The sparkly striptease. The snake. The kiss. The 2007.

She hasn't performed on the MTV Video Music Awards stage in nearly a decade. But tonight, The Legendary Miss Britney Spears returned at last to take her rightful place back on stage at the awards ceremony to perform her Glory lead single, "Make Me" with G-Eazy — and, surprise! — an assist on Eazy's "Me, Myself & I," originally performed with Bebe Rexha.

While perhaps not an iconic moment as her performances in years past, the "Do You Wanna Come Over?" superstar still turned out plenty of confident energy and classic personality (those alternating fierce and goofy faces!) while hair-flipping, thrusting and grinding her way through her single. Oh, and she also took a very clear liking to Eazy's, erm, Little Eazy. Watch those hands, B!

Watch the performance up top.

Britney's ninth studio album, Glory, was released on Friday.
