It's May 4, and you know what that means: Let the #PrettyGirlsPromo begin, y'all!

Following the premiere of her new single "Pretty Girls" at midnight, the Legendary Miss Britney Spears got up to make an early mornin' call to Z100 to discuss her brand new single with Iggy Azalea — "my next single for my next album" according to the Piece Of Me Vegas showgirl-turned-Pretty Girl herself — as well as their upcoming video together, and the salad-filled story of how they met.

Perhaps most incredibly, B-Girl also briefly ponders Iggy Azalea's origin based on her accent. "I think she's from Australia," she hypothesizes. Who knows, really?

Highlights from the brief yet brilliant radio chat include:

On the story behind "Pretty Girls"...

"I saw her video and I was just a huge fan. I was thinking about my next single for my next album and what I was gonna do, and I wanted to do a girl anthem. Something that was very girl empowering and that was kinda funny. I thought a whole take on valley girls and just kind of making fun of that would be fun for us to do. She was really down for it."

On meeting Iggy Azalea, her new BFF...

"She invited me to her house, and I met her dog and we had salads. She's a very sweet girl. We hit it off. It was so much fun working with her."

On the type of salad...

"It was, like, a regular caesar salad."

On Iggy Azalea's accent...

"I think she's from Australia. She has an accent. She's funny. She's really, really cool."

On the "Pretty Girls" concept and returning to her #SomethingMoreUrban dance roots...

"This has been the first video I've done in a while where, you know, I came up with the concept and there's a lot of dancing. I got new choreographers to come in and kind of do hip-hop dancing, which I haven't done in a really long time, so the feel of the video is really different and hi-energy. My dancers were there, my dancers from my show. There's a club scene, there's a car-wash scene, a couple of different other scenes...we had a lot of fun."

On being a Living Legend...

"I'm very blessed, I have to say."

On Piece Of Me, her hardest and most personal show to date...

"It's a very high impact show. I do all my hits. It's like a journey doing the show. It takes you through all these different emotions...it's fun. I don't know why I've done my hardest show at 33, though."

Let's hope this is just the beginning of The Holy Spearit's promo tour all around the world for "Pretty Girls"...and that she gets to eat all the salads she wants along the way, too. She's just so prett-ay!
