Britney Spears has announced the release date for her upcoming remix album, 'B in the Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2.' The album, which will feature new versions of both old (and by old we mean circa 2007 old) and new Brit tracks, will impact on Oct. 11, just in time to add some of the tracks to your Halloween party playlist.

The singer posted about the remix album's release date on her Twitter account, writing, "Exciting news tweeps... new remix album is coming out on 10/11! Pumped for you to hear these tracks - I love them."

'B in the Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2' will feature 10 Britney Spears tracks that have been revamped by huge names in the DJ world --  Dutch electro-dance king Tiësto remixes Brit's 2007 track 'Piece of Me,' while Chicago native Kaskade takes on 'Gimme More' and 'Cinema' mix-man Benny Bennassi produces his own rendition of Britney's 'Womanizer.'

The first volume in the 'B in the Mix' remix series dropped back in November of 2005, with remixes of songs like 'Me Against the Music,' -- which was reworked by French electronica duo Justice -- 'I'm a Slave 4 U' and 'Toxic.'

On top of releasing her latest installment of remixes, Brit is also working on her video for 'Criminal' while overseas in England. 'Criminal' will be the fourth single off of Brit's latest studio LP, 'Femme Fatale.'
