The ongoing saga of the legal battle between Britney Spears and her former bodyguard just gained another chapter. According to the security firm he worked for, she gypped them out of half a year's worth of fees, and now they're taking her to court for more than $140,000.

The news comes courtesy of TMZ, whose sources say this latest lawsuit stems from the sexual harassment charges filed last year by bodyguard Fernando Flores.

According to the company, the Advanced Security Concepts Corporation, Spears' representatives demanded that ASCC cover her legal expenses in the sexual harassment case. ASCC claims that after they refused, Spears fired them, and then withheld fees for the six months remaining on their contract -- which she was apparently obligated to pay whether or not she actually used their services. Nice gig, huh?

It sounds like it will take awhile for the courts to untangle this mess, but one thing's for sure: it's never a dull moment where Britney's concerned. In the meantime, the star will be celebrating life in her 30s -- and her successful 'Femme Fatale' tour -- by unwinding in her palatial Los Angeles estate and plotting her next act of worldwide media domination.
