Although no official announcement has been made yet, rumors are circulating about a possible Britney Spears tour this year. This would mark the 'Hold It Against Me' singer's first tour since her 'Circus' spectacle in 2009.

LiveNation released a statement in their most recent Investor's Report that practically confirms the imminent tour.

"At this point, the company expects over 75% of its key Front Line artists to be active and touring during 2011, compared to under 50% of those artists actively touring last year," the report states. "Major tours are currently expected from, among others, the Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Neil Diamond, the cast of 'Glee,' Journey, Kid Rock, Kings Of Leon, Britney Spears and Sugarland."

With the release of her new album, 'Femme Fatale,' right around the corner, this seems like a very viable rumor. Stay tuned with PopCrush for more Britney tour updates.
