Let's travel back to a time when feather scrunchies ruled all hairdos, and when it was OK that the bottom half of your pants zipped off. In fact, it wasn't just OK, it was cool.

For PopCrush's first-ever Throwback Thursday face off, we're pitting '90s pop princesses Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera against each other. Now, it's your job to decide which one of these ladies will be crowned the ultimate teen queen by voting for your favorite song. And of course, we had to have Brit and Xtina go up against each other with the hits that made them famous, '...Baby One More Time' and 'Genie in a Bottle.'

It's impossible to forget Britney Spears' breakout hit, '...Baby One More Time,' if not for the insanely catchy song itself, than for the insanely hot video. Spears pulled off the sexy and sweet thing better than anybody before her with '...Baby One More Time,' dishing out the sexual innuendos on the record and dressing up as a naughty Catholic school girl in the music video.

Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera took a similar approach on her debut smash, 'Genie in a Bottle.' Back when this provocative piece of pop perfection was all over the radio, our 11-year-old selves had no idea we were singing along to one of the dirtiest songs from that time: "If you wanna be with me / Baby there's a price to pay / I'm a genie in a bottle / You gotta rub me the right way."

So tell us: Which song won your heart over then, and stills holds the key to it now? Vote for either Britney Spears' '...Baby One More Time' or Christina Aguilera's 'Genie in a Bottle' below. You can vote once per hour until this Throwback Thursday poll closes on March 6 at 11:59 PM ET.

Rules of Throwback Thursdays: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a different Throwback Thursday challenger the following week. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, they will be retired into the Throwback Thursdays Hall of Fame in order to give others a chance to compete.
