Britney Spears has been killing it in Pop Clash lately, and her most recent win over Selena Gomez might be her biggest yet! Brit's newest single 'Ooh La La,' from 'The Smurfs 2' soundtrack, overtook Gomez's 'Stars Dance' song 'Slow Down' by a long run, with the former garnering more than 75% of the fan votes! Way to go, Brit lovers!

Now that Spears is only one win away from Hall of Fame status, will she be able to beat out Jason Derulo this week? The R&B crooner is in the running with his latest hit 'The Other Side,' and it's up to you, the readers, to decide who advances onward in our Pop Clash song battle!

'Ooh La La' finds Brit balancing out her sexy persona with some synth-y, bubblegum beats and sweet lyrics, as she sings, "You don't have to look like a movie star / Ooh I think you're good just the way you are / Tell me if you could would you up and run away with me?" There are heavier electro breakdowns on the chaotic pre-choruses, but the refrains are laden with candy-coated guitar strings and sparkling, almost sing-song vocals. While listening to 'Ooh La La,' you can get your dance on no problem, but the ever-changing tempo keeps it all interesting.

Conversely, 'The Other Side' is a full-fledged dance floor anthem, with a backbeat and vocal delivery that slowly grows until reaching maximum capacity on the pulsating chorus. On the track, Derulo sings about the electricity felt between two people who are the verge of falling for each other (and into each other's beds): "Tonight we’ll just get drunk / Disturb the peace / Bind your hands all over me / And then you bite your lip / Whisper and say, 'We’re going all the way.'" Maybe 'The Other Side' was inspired by his romance with the lovely Jordin Sparks?

Which song do you like best this week? Vote for Britney Spears' 'Ooh La La' or Jason Derulo's 'The Other Side' below. You can vote once per hour until the poll closes on July 15 at 3PM EST. Good luck!

Rules of Pop Clash: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a different challenger the following week. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, they will be retired into the Pop Clash Hall of Fame in order to give others a chance to compete.
