Brittany Kerr Slides Through With Joss Stone Cover on ‘American Idol’

Brittany Kerr has a lot going for her in the looks department, which is a surprise to no one given her side job as an NBA dancer. But tonight, she strove for something  more -- a place in Hollywood as the future 'American Idol.'

The blonde bombshell laid down a fairly impressive cover of Joss Stone's 'Spoiled' during the Savannah, Ga. auditions, but somehow, she failed to impress the female judge Jennifer Lopez. Lopez felt pretty 'meh' about the soulful number, saying Kerr could certainly use some work.

Perhaps even less surprising, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson gave Brittany several thumbs up, though they probably wished to do more. A contestant only needs two nods of the head to grab a golden ticket to Hollywood, so Brittany successfully nabbed her once-in-a-lifetime chance -- without Lopez on her side.

After the young hopeful was out of the room, the notorious dance-pop artist asked us to mark her words, insisting that Miss Kerr wouldn't make it a week in L.A.

Ouch!
