Somewhere Kanye West is going on an epic rant about this: Bruno Mars has been named Billboard magazine's Artist of the Year.

We guess Yeezy was right: Bruno does win all the f**king awards! Top Pop Radio Artist, Teen Choice Awards, VMAs, EMAs and now he's hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard's list of 2013's top artists.

As for Bruno's own reaction to the honor, he joked, "What makes you Artist of the Year? Can we throw 'Best Jump Shot' in there?"

So how did Mars dominate the year and become the first male since 2008 to take the title? "He grabbed hold of the album and single charts and never let go," the writer states in its cover story. His latest album, 'Unorthodox Jukebox,' hit No. 1 and appeared in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 for more than nine months.

The album featured three Top 10 singles: 'Treasure,' 'Locked Out of Heaven' and 'When I Was Your Man.' The latter two tunes also topped the singles chart. Social, ringtone and tour receipts were also included in the data leading to the list.

Regardless of all the awards, Bruno is keeping things in perspective. "My dream was to not get a day job but to sleep, wake up and do my music," he says. "And hopefully, my music does all the talking. I want to keep that dream forever. That's it. That's what I love to do."

BTW, if you're looking for Kanye on the list, you'll find him dead last, at No. 100.
