If you've ever wanted to hear Bruno Mars recreate music from 'The Little Mermaid,' today is your lucky day. The pop superstar performed for the BBC Live Lounge and offered a wide-ranging 20-minute set that included a Christmas song, a Jimi Hendrix cover, and a couple of awesomely silly Disney songs.

"Tis the season," Mars said at the top of the performance before leading a beautiful a cappella version of 'Silent Night' with harmonies from his backing singers. Then, he really got the party started with 'Locked Out of Heaven' and a new song from 'Unorthodox Jukebox' called 'Show Me,' which revealed a tropical dancehall-style flavor.

After a subdued, stripped-down 'Grenade' followed, things started to get really interesting. Mars ripped through a version of Jimi Hendrix's 'Fire,' noting that he's been wanting to play that song on the Live Lounge since his last visit.

The singer then told the crowd that before he was famous, he used to earn $100 to sing cover songs in bars for four hours. He continued, "There's this one song I could never get through because I choke up," he joked. "It's the best song ever written. I want to look fear in the eyes right now, and then I want to kick it in the ding ding." That led into his light-hearted performance of 'Part of Your World' and 'Under the Sea' from 'The Little Mermaid.'

Mars also played 'Runaway Baby' before ending his set. Check out the video to hear the entire Live Lounge set.
