It seems like we've been waiting forever for BTS to perform on American television, and tonight (November 19), fans all over the U.S. finally had the chance to experience the K-pop phenomenon.

The Chainsmokers, who introduced the group, were a little nervous because they could feel the room buzzing with the energy of ARMYs. And once the spotlight moved toward the the stage, the crowd erupted—not just with screams but with singing, too.

Ansel Elgort had to whip out his phone to film what was happening.

Despite all the craziness in the crowd, BTS never lost a beat and put on a flawless performance. Once it was over, cameras panned the crowd to find many of BTS' fans with tears of joy because they finally got to see their favorite act in the world.

"I need a moment to recover from that performance," Jared Leto, who followed the performance, said. "That was incredible."

And after seeing how BTS fans were still trying to contain themselves, he's right!
