Just hours before BTS' planned appearance on U.K. late night talk show The Graham Norton Show, the South Korean group's agency, Big Hit Entertainment, announced that member Jimin will not be appearing with his bandmates on the program after suffering from "severe" pain.

"We regret to announce that one of the members of BTS, Jimin, will not be able to take part in the recording of the band's appearance tonight on The Graham Norton Show," Big Hit wrote on Twitter.

"On the morning of the day of the recording, Jimin began suffering from severe muscle pain in his neck and back, and received medical attention," the statement continues. "While Jimin made every effort to take part in the program, including arriving at the studio, the decision was made for Jimin not to take part in the recording due to his condition."

The announcement comes just two days after Big Hit announced that fellow member Jungkook would be forced to remain seated during BTS' concert at the O2 Arena in London on October 9.

The evening of the concert, the agency revealed that Jungkook had "suffered an injury to his heel" while stretching prior to the band's set.

"The opinion of the medical team is that while the injury is not serious, performing choreography may do further damage to the injured area," read the statement.
