In this pairing for the 2013 Battle of the Brits, we’ve got one of the most successful mainstream DJs of the 21st century, Calvin Harris, versus the brothers of Disclosure, who despite being a bit newer to the game, are making a big impact with their unique sound. Who will you vote through as the best U.K. electronic artist?

Harris hails from Scotland, and started recording music in his bedroom at the age of 15. Now, almost 15 years later, he’s been atop the Billboard charts in more than a dozen countries for his global smash ‘We Found Love’ (although it’s technically a Rihanna song, Harris wrote the beat and lyrics), and has topped the charts twice in the U.K. with ‘I’m Not Alone’ and the Florence Welch-featured track ‘Sweet Nothing.’ Additionally, his last two studio LPs shot to No. 1 on the U.K. album charts, with his most recent release ’18 Months’ producing hits like ‘Feel So Close,’ on which Harris himself sings, ‘Let’s Go’ with Ne-Yo, and ‘I Need Your Love’ featuring Ellie Goulding.

Meanwhile, the duo known as Disclosure, aka brothers Guy, 22, and Howard Lawrence, 19, have only been active for 3 years, but have already managed to land gigs at festivals like Coachella. After the success of their second single ‘Tenderly’/’Flow,’ Disclosure fans were eager for more, and the pair subsequently released their acclaimed ‘The Face’ EP in June 2012. From there, the Surrey natives had a lot of hype to live up to with their debut album, ‘Settle,’ which landed the guys at No. 1 on the U.K. album charts and secured them worldwide fame thanks to singles like ‘Latch,’ ‘White Noise ‘ and ‘You & Me.’

So, which electronic act is your favorite right now? Do you love the sounds and lyrics that Calvin Harris comes up with, or are you down with the futuristic funk that is Disclosure? Vote up to once per hour until July 17, when this poll is set to close (at 2PM EST). The winner will advance to the next round on PopCrush’s fan-voted quest to crown the ultimate U.K. artist!
