Up-and-coming pop singer Camryn may only be 11-years-old, but she sure does know her stuff when it comes to singing professionally. Camryn first rose to fame with her series of YouTube music videos, including her ode to the Biebz in 'I Love Justin Bieber.' The bubbly singer is currently working on her debut studio album, 'Wait and See,' and is out on tour with mega-watt teen stars Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance. PopCrush recently had the pleasure of chatting with Camryn about keeping up with school while she is out on tour, her energetic performances, and her favorite recording artists.

At what age did you start singing and performing? How did you get your start in music?
I’ve been really singing all my life, but I really, really started to, you know, record when I was 8. I always would pretend to make up songs and sing around the house. My mom and dad can’t sing. My mom tried but, she can’t.

What is your favorite song on your upcoming album 'Wait and See'?
I think my favorite would have to be 'Set the Night on Fire' which I actually am performing on the tour. It's more of an upbeat tempo, and it's very fun and energetic. It’s really hard to perform live, but it’s still fun! We have not [decided on a release date yet], but we are estimating some time in the summer.

How is the tour with Cody and Greyson going? Do you guys get to hang out at all?
It’s going great! They are so nice and I enjoy doing all this with them.

How do you keep up with school work when you are out on tour? Do you have a tutor?
I do not. But I went to "school school" before I found out about the tour, so my school right now is just emailing me homework.

Do you have a favorite subject?
My favorite subject is probably science. Well, I like chemistry because I’ve always enjoyed being stupid and mixing chemicals with chemicals and making them explode and stuff like that.

What's your favorite song of yours to perform?
It would probably be my song ‘Move Your Body’ because you get the chance to tell the crowd ya know, ‘Come on! Get your hands up and move your body!’ and stuff like that. The song is so kind of rockish so it’s a lot different to see how they react to that kind of music.

So you are a Belieber -- can you tell me what you love most about Justin Bieber?
I don't know! I would say his Bieber flip, but he cut his hair.

Do you have any other crushes besides Justin Bieber?
I would say Taylor Lautner. Yeah, he's cute.

Some of your songs have a rock sound, while others have a real poppy feel. Which artists inspire you musically?
Well I have different artists that inspire me to do different things, whether I am listening to Pink or I'm listening to Katy Perry. So I'm basically in between those two.

Are there other artists around your age that have really inspired you?
Well, if you count Selena Gomez, then yes! I am [also] a fan of Willow Smith. I like her song ‘Whip My Hair.' She's very fun!

It must be really exciting for you that your songs are featured in 'Judy Moody and the Not So Bummer Summer.' How did that come about?
I sort of sent my music in, and the director saw them and he picked three songs that he really liked. He placed them in the movie [because] they fit really well.

If you got to choose one recording artist to collaborate with, who would it be and why?
I would pick either Katy Perry or Lady Gaga because they both really inspire me in different ways. It’d be fun to see how our voices would collide.
