Candace Cameron Bure is leaving The View, the daytime talk show she co-hosts alongside Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Paula Faris, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Jedediah Bila.

The Fuller House actress announced her impending departure during Thursday morning's episode (December 8), where she told the audience her decision comes following mounting pressure due to her commitments with both the Netflix show and the Hallmark Channel, as well as her desire to spend more time with her family.

"It wasn't an easy decision," Bure said during her announcement. "Before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel. Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows."

"I want to make sure I’m able to spend enough time with my children," she added, before graciously thanking her viewers and co-hosts. "I thank everybody...for welcoming me to this table. I’ve learned so much from you and I’m so grateful for you."

Bure's departure comes just weeks after former View co-host Raven-Symone announced she was leaving to pursue a That's So Raven spin-off with the Disney Channel back in October.
