Caroline Glaser, a coffeehouse singer used to playing indie folk and pop for a max of 30 people a night in St. Louis, is also a college freshman, but she withdrew from the semester in order to audition for 'The Voice.' Her family is filled with doctors, so education is important to them, but they support her in her quest. On tonight's (April 8) blind audition episode, she warmed the coaches' hearts with her version of Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer.'

When Blake Shelton and Shakira turned their chairs around for her, she cracked a smile but didn't derail. Her voice was sweet without being saccharine.

Her performance wasn't over the top. It was simple, but breathtaking. Shelton acknowledged that there was so much artistry in her voice, while Shak called it "diaphanous" and "angelic."

Glaser ultimately chose to become a member of Team Blake, since he appealed to her desire to be a songwriter by mentioning that he could help her with that when he wooed her! It was beyond cute when the camera panned to Shelton as he realized that Glaser was picking him -- he clenched his fists in "Ooooh me!" fashion and was like a little kid that just saw a bike under the Christmas tree.

"She's the type of artist I do this for," Shelton said after she picked him.

Remember, Shelton does have luck with these types of singers, as Season 1 runner-up Dia Frampton had that whole breathy, sultry, soft but powerful vocal style.
