Carrie Underwood is currently set to open the 2015 Super Bowl by introducing a revised version of her song 'Waiting All Day for Sunday Night' that will reference the Super Bowl more heavily. The original song has been used to open both the 2013 and 2014 NFL seasons, and so it should come as no huge surprise that Carrie was asked to perform an altered version of the song for the Super Bowl.

According to Taste of Country, the song's title was appropriately altered to say, 'Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight,' and will reportedly have a different visual opening, as well -- from lyrics that will relate back to the two teams playing, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, as well as a brand new set design.

While Carrie has yet to be named as a half-time performer for the game, she did perform the National Anthem for the 2010 game, so who knows what may be in store for her in the future.

Be sure to tune in for the 2015 Super Bowl -- as well as Carrie's performance! -- when it airs on Feb. 1.
