If you were expecting another country tune from Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope on ‘The Voice’ tonight (Nov. 26), you may have been slightly disappointed – but no matter the genre, it’s clear that this girl knows how to sing. Her performance of Michelle Branch’s ‘Are You Happy Now?’ all but brought the house down.

“No, I’m not happy now, because you could win this thing and I’m not happy about it!” answered Cee Lo Green, obviously bitter about the fact that she isn’t on his team. Meanwhile, Adam Levine seemed more than a little distracted by the smoke machine, but he managed to pull himself out of his long-winded tangent (in which he expressed his deep hatred toward the Roxy) in order to say, “You’re just really kind of the front-runner now.”

Her coach rounded out the judges’ remarks by giving Pope’s mom a birthday shout-out. Shelton then went on to deliver a very thoughtful assessment of her progress. “Last week was about Cassadee coming out and laying her heart and soul out on the stage … This week, you showed America that you’re every bit as good of a singer as anybody. We’re talking about singing, and you just sang the crap out of that song.”

We know that she’s insanely talented, but has she shown us her true voice yet? America, what do you think?
