On the fourth season finale of 'Glee,' the New Directions head to Regionals to take on their new competition (which includes 'American Idol' Season 11 runner up, Jessica Sanchez) and try to clinch the trophy for the third year in a row.
Regionals are here and so is the season finale for Season 4! This Thursday's (May 9) episode of 'Glee' has lots going on as the New Directions focus on advancing to Nationals.
This episode of 'Glee' is all about the master of motown Stevie Wonder and includes all his classic songs transported into the pop-tastic world of the glee club. Prepare yourselves for seven 'Wonder-ful' songs and two guest stars.
The 'Wonder-Ful' episode of 'Glee,' airing this Thursday, May 2 at 9PM on Fox, is literally full of wonder and Wonder full.
That's because the New Directions tackle the songs of the R&B icon known as Stevie Wonder throughout the episode. All the classics, from 'Superstition' to 'Uptight' and more, are covered.
Jessica Sanchez was the runner-up on Season 11 of 'American Idol,' losing to Phillip Phillips, who has gone on to have a platinum-plus career on the back of his coronation single 'Home.' Sanchez is not lagging behind, though. On April 30, she is set to release her dance-oriented debut, 'Me, You & the Music,' a beat-drenched record that is much younger and groovier than what we saw from her on 'Idol.'
Things take a dark turn on this episode of 'Glee,' both literally and figuratively. The school is cast into darkness when the power goes out and the kids go unplugged for their glee club assignments. They also unplug their feelings and admit some secrets they've been keeping hidden away in the dark.
On Thursday's (April 25) episode of 'Glee,' the power goes out at McKinley High, leading to all sorts of acoustic, unplugged fun. The ep is titled 'Lights Out.'
This week's 'Glee' is all about following, and hopefully achieving your dreams, with the storyline flitting from McKinley High to the local community college, all the way to New York City.
Following last week's school shooting-themed episode, which drew criticism for being too soon after the Newtown/Sandy Hook tragedy, 'Glee' is back with an all-new ep, dubbed 'Sweet Dreams,' set to air Thursday, April 18 on Fox. It's packed with some killer songs, including an oldie but goodie that Gleeks have seen and heard the cast perform before.
