Flo Rida brought more than a 'Good Feeling' to the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards stage tonight (June 17). He also busted out his hit, 'Wild Ones,' featuring a surprise guest. Sia wasn't available, but a certain Canadian cutie filled in happily!
Life most certainly imitated art for Canadian songbird Nelly Furtado during her performance of her most recent single 'Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)' at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards tonight (June 17). Looking like a futuristic diva with her high, slicked back ponytail and black dress, Furtado rocked a massive pair of circular, bright green earrings that extended well past her shoulders. That's what we call some big hoops!
Canada natives Marianas Trench -- who racked up more nominations than any other act at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards -- performed their song 'Fallout' from their concept album 'Ever After' outside during the live broadcast to tons of screaming fans. The performance was, in a word, rousing.
Way to go, LMFAO! The party rocking duo snagged the International Video of the Year by a Group at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards for 'Sexy and I Know It.'
You would think that because Justin Bieber won an award specifically catered to Canadians... at a Canadian music award show, that he'd be a little more enthusiastic and excited. Or ya know, that he'd at least be given a podium to stand at to give an acceptance speech. But no.
Congrats Katy Perry! The purple-haired starlet took home the award for International Video of the Year by an Artist at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards for 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).'
The 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards wasted no time in giving its audience two live performances before an award was even handed out! Following LMFAO's colorful and super choreographed performance came pop's newest "It-girl," Carly Rae Jepsen, who performed -- you guessed it -- 'Call Me Maybe.'
LMFAO pulled double duty during tonight's (June 17) 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards, which were held in Toronto, Canada and broadcast live. The fun-loving duo were not only tapped to host the event, they also opened the show with a shuffle-filled performance of their massive, summer 2011 anthem 'Party Rock Anthem.'
Tonight at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards, stars posed for fun pictures on the red carpet with some very interesting guests on their arms. Katy Perry, Canada native Justin Bieber, fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen and Selena Gomez -- most of whom are performing at this evening's show -- all hit the red carpet at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto for some adorable, and is some cases, steamy pictures.
