Last night (April 15), the 2013 MTV Movie Awards were held to celebrate some of the biggest and brightest stars and films, and while it's a place mostly reserved for actors, there were some singers (and actresses-turned-singers) spread throughout the mix of celebs who hit the red carpet in Culver City, Calif.
We wonder if Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Joe Jonas took a cue from 'Almost Famous' and shouted "I am a golden God!" into the mirror before they stepped out in these metallic suit jackets. They really do look oh-so fly! Elvis Presley would be proud this trend has continued into the 21st century.
Nearly 14 years after its release, the Destiny's Child single 'Say My Name' still holds up as one of the best throwback jams ever! The then-quartet (now-trio) championed over TLC's 'Waterfalls' with their harmonious, Grammy-winning hit, taking the latest Throwback Thursday win with more than 58% of the fan votes. Congrats to the R&B divas and the readers who participated!
ELLE has released their yearly 'Women in Music' issue, and the main ladies being highlighted this year are 'Skyfall' chanteuse Adele, that 'Girl on Fire' known as Alicia Keys, and 'Radioactive' songstress Rita Ora.
So far, only Adele's ELLE cover has been on display for Internet users, with Keys' and Ora's issues still to come. Luckily though, we've gotten glimpses of all three songstresses in the accompanying 'Women in Music' photo spread within the mag pages.
Taylor Swift has pretty much always been a blonde (albeit in differing shades of the color), but unlike the color, her hairstyles are never a constant. The '22' songstress loves switching up her locks, sometimes wearing her hair down, and at other times, pulling it back into some nifty ponytails and updos.
Los Angeles rapper Becky G pays tribute to one of her personal "idols," former reality TV judge Jennifer Lopez, with her latest video for 'Becky From the Block.' Not only does she rap over J. Lo's original 'Jenny From the Block' beat, she also borrowed the chorus (changing the lines up a bit to fit her "rags to riches" motif) from the 2002 mega hit.
