Every few days or so, people stop caring about Donald Trump and he finds it necessary to force his way back into the conversation by making outrageous statements about someone who is usually held in high esteem by the public. It's what The Donald does.
Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show has been the source of much discussion. Was there a nip slip? Was it too safe? Did she cause the blackout? Why are there unflattering photos of her performance popping up on the web? Her Destiny's Child bandmate Michelle Williams, who was part of the event with the Destiny reunion, has responded to some of the criticism and shared her experience.
Beyonce delivered one helluva fierce performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday (Feb. 3.) She epitomized her Sasha Fierce alter ego, and Miss Fierce was in full effect, shaking her groove thang, making rubbery faces that are expected from Nicki Minaj and generally being the queen that she is. However, some of the photos show her making angry-looking faces, and her publicist has taken to asking them to be removed.
If it's not one thing it's another regarding Beyonce's Super Bowl XLVII performance. A manufactured nip slip, being accused of causing a power outage, not having enough "oomph" or a sizzle factor. You name it, Bey's been criticized over it. Not to be outdone, the powers-that-be at PETA have taken aim at Queen Bey for her leather and lace onesie, since it was constructed of exotic skins like python and iguana.
Perhaps the fact that Beyonce's halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVII last night (Feb. 3) was so clean, so drama-free and so wardrobe malfunction-less that people feel the need to invent or imagine a nip slip to have something to talk about? Fresh off of Lip-Syncgate, haters known as Beythiests are looking for something to grab on to and have suggested a nip slip. It happened right after she and the members of Destiny's Child rode in on unicorns.
Beyonce brought the house down as the halftime entertainment last night (Feb. 3) at the 2013 Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens (the winners) and the San Francisco 49ers (the losers!) The power went out at the start of the second half/third quarter, after Bey's bootylicious perf, which boasted a mini Destiny's Child reunion!
Super Bowl XLVII aka Super Bowl 2013 was quite an event, and we're not just talking about the stellar halftime entertainment provided by Beyonce, who delivered a drama-free, wardrobe malfunction-less and no mistake performance, along with a mini reunion of Destiny's Child. But those weren't the sole topics of conversation in the Twitterverse during the nail-biting game itself.
Beyonce proved at the 2013 Super Bowl once more why she's the Queen Bey, delivering a showstopping performance that included her solo hits as well as the worst kept secret in the world, a Destiny's Child reunion cameo. (The showstopping part is literal -- the lights went out in the New Orleans Super Dome when she was done!) You can watch her full performance here, but we've summed up the highlights for you in GIF form.
To quote the reunited Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams: "Can you handle this?"
