Here's an excellent case of why the Internet is so great. A Detroit-area producer posted an unreleased song that was originally demoed for the late and great Whitney Houston. The song 'All Alone Now' was produced by Waajeed and sung by the soulful crooner Cee Lo Green.

According to the producer, the song was recorded in 2007 and was being considered for Nippy's last studio album 'I Look to You' (2009). Although it's a five-year-old track, it doesn't sound too outdated. A remix would bring this song back to life.

On the mid-tempo ballad, Cee Lo Green sings about a failed relationship and the afterthought of moving on with his life. This would have been a perfect fit for Houston when she was going through a public separation with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Props to Cee Lo Green and Waajeed for letting us hear what could have been a Whitney Houston hit.

Meanwhile, Green is looking forward to being a hit on the Las Vegas strip. The 'Voice' judge has announced that he will bring his own brand of glitz and glamour to Sin City. The Grammy Award-winning artist will perform a revue at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino called "Cee Lo Green Presents Loberace."

In a statement, the show is described as a "ride through the colorful decades of music, stopping at legendary moments in time, from Prince to Blue Magic to The Rolling Stones, new wave to disco and beyond." The 28-date show will kick off Aug. 29 and will last through December.

"I am very fortunate to have Planet Hollywood as a partner, allowing me to further extend and embellish on the brand that is Cee Lo Green," said Green.

Green follows behind a number of recent pop artists who performed Las Vegas residencies including Elton John, Carlos Santana and Celine Dion.
