Celeb Brides Who Didn’t Wear White
Pink is on its way to becoming the new white… at least when it comes to wedding dresses.
Celebs have ditched pristine, traditional white gowns in favor of the equally feminine pink. But that’s not the only non-white color being chosen.
Two lovely celeb brides chose to go to the exact opposite end of the spectrum and wore black.
Even when the dresses are in unexpected and unconventional colors, they are still luxe and designed by the likes of Monique Lhuillier and Vera Wang.
We’ve rounded up a batch of style iconoclasts who ditched boring and expected snow white in favor of something a little different and edgier for their big days.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Kaley Cuoco wed Ryan Sweeting on New Year’s Eve and was pretty in cotton candy pink by Vera Wang. It had a sweetheart neckline and was the pinkest of the pink. That is, it was super girly and femme.
Jessica Biel donned a blush pink, strapless Giambattista Valli for her wedding to Justin Timberlake. It was her first marriage, so she could have worn white, but she choose this pale, whisper-pink hue.
Quirky actress Amber Tamblyn was barefoot, in clingy yellow, walking in nature, when she wed comedian and ‘Arrested Development’ star David Cross. It was left of center and lovely, even if she did look more like a bridesmaid than a bride.
Canadian cutie and ‘Beverly Hills 902010′ spinoff star Shenae Grimes wore black Vera Wang. She was not goth…just progressive!
