Pop stars and celebs often boast hair colors that aren't their own and that aren't found in nature, or they play with the many colors of the rainbow. They have armies of stylists at their disposal, so they can experiment, indulging every follicular whim. It had us scratching our heads and wondering about their natural hair color. What shades were they born with?

While Lady Gaga's platinum shade is her signature, she wasn't -- natch! -- born that way. Katy Perry's glossy black Bettie Page 'do is her most identifiable. But that hair hue is not her natural color by any means. Actress Emma Stone is famous for her fiery strands but those come from chemicals.

Shocking, right?

Check out this round up of our favorite pop stars and celebs. Their man-made shades are on the left in each photo, while their natural hues are on the right!
