Growing up in a small town in Virginia, this guitarist had a very happy childhood despite the fact that his parents divorced when he was just 4 years old. While he didn't really have a tumultuous upbringing or grow up in a rough neighborhood, this guy still has no trouble finding inspiration for his songs, one of which won him two Grammy awards!
