Although she's smiling in this yearbook photo from her childhood, growing up wasn't easy for the songstress. On top of dealing with problems in her personal life, she didn't have the easiest time in school either, since a lot of kids bullied her. These struggles would manifest later on in life as this songstress admitted to battling an eating disorder and self-mutilating as a means of coping with her emotional pain.

However, she's now recognized these problems and has sought help for them in her young adult years. Although she still struggles on a daily basis, she's learned healthier ways to channel her energy, and her music has been very cathartic for the former child actress.
