Look at that sour puss! Why so glum, girlfriend? Actually, if you recognize the singer in this yearbook photo, it's not really that surprising she was unhappy to be at school, since she was frequently bullied by her peers (she even has songs about it now). 

Even though school was rough for this Pennsylvania gal, her rough and tough attitude and sense of humor were able to guide her through. She is now one of the biggest singers in pop today, and despite holding down that sassiness she's always possessed, she is in a much better place now as a happily married mom of one.
