Filipina vocal powerhouse Charice, who just wrapped filming the comedy film 'Here Comes the Boom' alongside Kevin James, recently spoke with Teen.com about her passions for singing and acting. During the interview, Charice let fans in on a little guilty pleasure she has -- horror movies!

When asked if she preferred music or movies, Charice said, "Acting in movies. I mean, of course singing is my life -- this whole acting this is recently. But [I] definitely love doing movies, especially this experience from 'Here Comes the Boom.' But if they're gonna give me a chance to do a movie again, I would love to try horror movies."

Now that would be one movie we wouldn't want to miss! Can't you just picture Charice using her big voice to let out one of the most spine-tingling screams in horror movie history?

Charice also talked about her forthcoming album, saying, "My new album, it actually might come out this October and it's definitely way different than the album that I released two years ago ... I've worked with a lot of great songwriters and producers. It's been a great experience, so I can't wait for you guys to hear the new songs."

Charice's movie 'Here Comes the Boom,' which features Kevin James as a teacher moonlighting as a martial arts expert, will be released to theaters in 2012. In the meantime, keep an eye out for new Charice music, including her "favorite song" called 'Lighthouse,' in the approaching months.
