Charice to Make Movie Debut in ‘Here Comes the Boom’

From her small recurring spot on 'Glee' to the silver screen, Charice is set to make her movie debut. She will be starring in a lead role in the 2012 flick 'Here Comes the Boom.'

Charice will play the character Malia in the film, alongside Salma Hayek and Kevin James. Hollywood Life reports that the storyline involves a music teacher who does martial arts on the side -- meaning it's likely that Charice will get to blast her big singing voice in theaters everywhere. This film will be the singer's first, and we are certain it won't be her last.

As for her role as Sunshine Corazon on 'Glee,' when the show returns to FOX on April 19 for the 'Night of Neglect' episode, so does the the Filipina songstress! Not only will Charice be back, so will Gwyneth Paltrow and a rumored 11 other guest stars, so we're in for a real treat.
