Fans who are eagerly awaiting Charli XCX's highly anticipated album will have to wait a little bit longer.

Atlantic Records has announced through a press release that her album 'Sucker' has been moved from its original Oct. 21 release date to Dec. 16 in the United States. Fans in the U.K. and the rest of Europe will have to wait until Jan. 26, 2015 to download their copies of the album.

The 22-year-old pop star has already made waves with her collaborations on Icona Pop's 'I Love It' and this summer's blockbuster smash, 'Fancy' with Iggy Azalea. Her first major solo single, 'Boom Clap,' went as high as the No. 10 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to a new release date, the album also has new artwork. The original art simply had a photo of a candy sucker with the album title, but has since changed to include a bright photo of Charli XCX holding the sucker instead.
