Country boy Chase Likens is definitely a good looking guy, and he's got a great voice to match. We got to know the 'American Idol' hopeful a little better during the live rounds tonight (Feb. 28), where the West Virginia native talked about his country roots and his college career. We hope he pulls a Scotty McCreery and sticks with schooling as he grows into country stardom, because that's certainly where this guy looks to be headed!

The guys from the Top 24 took the stage tonight, and Chase Likens hit the stage halfway through with a performance of Hunter Hayes' 'Storm Warning.' Likens, who was clad in a black leather jacket and jeans, is just around the same age as Hayes, and the vocalist sailed through the feisty love song with plenty of twang as he simultaneously showed off his wide vocal range.

The judges and crowd were not just liking Likens, they were loving him. "You're gonna set America's hearts on fire," Steven Tyler told the crooner, while Jennifer Lopez gushed, "Tonight is all about showing America who you are and you did that with that song … You've grown so much." Randy Jackson's sentiments were the same, as he said, "You definitely have range … You're ready dude!"
