Oh no! Cher Lloyd was involved in an accident on her way to the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards tonight (Aug. 24).

The ‘Sirens’ singer shared the scary news with fans via Twitter, writing:

While Cher didn’t share the details of the accident, we know it must have been pretty nerve-wracking for the pop star and her entourage. And though the incident may have caused an unexpected delay and unnecessary “drama drama” before the show, we’re just glad that Cher and her crew are all okay.

Sadly, this was not the only close call surrounding the MTV VMAs this year. Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight was shot multiple times at a VMAs pre-party hosted by Chris Brown. While Knight was reportedly able to walk out of the club on his own, he is currently undergoing surgery, while other party-goers also suffered injuries, including one patron who is reportedly in critical condition.
