Cher Lloyd Releases Playful ‘Want U Back’ Video With Astro

Cher Lloyd has revealed the fun video for her latest song 'Want U Back,' featuring 'X Factor' rapper Astro. The track itself is upbeat and whimsical, and the video follows suit.

The British teen -- and former 'X Factor' finalist in her home country -- sings about watching her ex with a new girl and wishing that she could get back together with him. The video opens with Polaroid photos of Cher and her former man. The Polaroid becomes a theme in the video, as later scenes are shown inside a Polaroid frame for added cool effect.

As Lloyd sings, "Hey, boy you never had much game / So I needed to upgrade / So I went and walked away, way, way / Now, I see you've been hanging out / With that other girl in town / Looking like a pair of clowns clowns clowns," still images of the new happy couple appear on the screen. Cher walks into the images and gets her revenge by pouring water and dumping popcorn on their heads.

In other shots, Cher appears on magazine covers that come to life and sits fully clothed in her bathtub while confetti and balloons rain down. Near the end, Astro makes his cameo, rapping his verse from the pages of a story appropriately titled "Ascending Star."

'Want U Back' appears on Lloyd's debut, 'Sticks + Stones,' which debuted in the Top 10 in Britain. The record will be released in the U.S. later this year.
