Even though Chord Overstreet won't be returning to 'Glee,' fans of the blond-haired hunk can still catch him on television this fall. Overstreet has been confirmed for a guest spot on ABC's sitcom 'The Middle.'

The television show, which stars Patricia Heaton of 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' focuses on the Heck family of five residing in the Midwest and the laugh-inducing daily struggles they face. On the show, Overstreet will act as the teacher to the youngest Heck child, Brick, who is known for his genius-like yet often strange behavior.

Overstreet's character is named Ralph Wilkerson, and according to TV Guide, is "enthusiastic, energetic but perhaps a little too forward-thinking for the elder Hecks' tastes." Despite this, Overstreet's character, who teaches at the fictitious Orson Elementary school, is said to have a major influence on Brick.

Patricia Heaton, who plays the matriarch of the Heck family, actually tweeted the good news, writing, "For all you @GLEEonFOX fans, @chordoverstreet is playing Brick's 4th grade teacher this year on #TheMiddle!

The episode of 'The Middle' that features Overstreet and his pouty adorableness will premiere on Sept. 28. 'The Middle' will return to ABC on Sept. 21, with a one-hour season premiere set for 8PM EST.
