Chris Brown has run into a bit of NIMBY (aka Not In My Back Yard) trouble in his Hollywood hood. Breezy's most recent problems come at the hands of his neighbors, who don't like the graffiti art he painted on the outside of his mansion. As Brown knows very well at this point in his life, you cannot please everybody.

Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, told the LA Times, "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to."

Chris Brown has responded to these claims by retweeting the AP story about his graffiti and then tweeting, "Keep em inside then! It's art. There are scarier creatures on Harry potter. Get a f--king life!"

While asking neighbors to simply just keep their children inside is a bit much, we agree that many children's movies, books and entertainment contain some pretty ominous creatures that could, conceivably, scare children much more than his furballs with teeth.

Brown has been issued a citation for "unpermitted and excessive signage," giving him 30 days to take down the artwork before he is subject to fines that start at $376 and could increase from there.

Once again, Breezy is playing the innocent victim card, with his lawyer Mark Geragos saying, "I'm scared of neighborhood busybodies like this. They've called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them."

Unfortunately for Chris, Los Angeles law stipulates that it is illegal to create murals on most private properties, even though his lawyer insists, "They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment." So are you gonna take this fight to the Supreme Court, buddy? We highly doubt it...
