According to a report from TMZ, former 'American Idol' contestants Chris Medina, Rob Bolin, and Tim Halperin are setting out on a small tour of the US, with almost all of the funding going towards charity.

The tour is set to hit five cities throughout the US, starting in Toledo, Ohio, and ending in Chicago. Nearly all of the proceeds from the tour will go to the charity benefiting Medina's fiancee, the Juliana Recovery Fund.

The Juliana Recovery Fund was set up to assist with the medical expenses after Medina's fiancee, Juliana Ramos, suffered serious brain damage after a devastating and nearly fatal car accident in 2009. Despite her life-altering injuries, Medina stuck by Ramos, and he even wrote his single 'What Are Words' as a dedication to her.

Although the concerts will not be affiliated with 'American Idol,' the three singers never would have this opportunity if it wasn't for the show. Stay tuned with PopCrush for more updates on the forthcoming tour and the former 'Idol' contestants.
