Chris Pratt brings new meaning to the word 'hero.' According to PEOPLE, the 'Parks and Recreation' actor visited the Children's Hospital of Orange County yesterday morning (Jan. 15) and wound up hanging out with a bunch of the patients there, even giving them toys.

When he made his way to see a young patient named Emma, he had a surprise waiting for him. The little girl, who recently overcame leukemia, had painted him a picture. Chris was so excited about it that he took to Facebook to post a photo of himself, Emma and, of course, the painting.

In the post (which you can check out above) he wrote, "After a long battle with childhood leukemia, Emma is going home cancer free!!! Atta girl! You kicked cancer's butt!!! Thank you to Children's Hospital Orange County for setting up an amazing visit and to Emma for my wonderful painting."

This isn't Chris' first foray into a children's hospital for a visit. He dressed up as his 'Guardians of the Galaxy' character, Peter Quill, when he surprised patients at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles back in August 2014 -- even giving them a screening of the movie.
