In his latest video, 'X Factor' finalist Chris Rene goes looking for 'Trouble' and finds it in the form of a cute girl he can't get out of his head.

The video begins with a shot of the 29-year-old singer-rapper waking up in bed, his many tattoos exposed for the world to see. Before getting out of bed, Rene puts on a fedora, which seems downright bizarre, except that a brief flashback shows the hat actually belongs to the girl. Rene, it seems, is smitten with this lady and clutches the hat because it's his only way of getting close to her.

The video follows Rene as he walks the streets with his guitar and sings about his infatuation. He gets to make out with her in some scenes, but those seem to be in his imagination.

Rene is trying to convince us the girl is bad news, but we know even he doesn't believe that. He sings, "That girl is trouble, trouble from her head to her toes / Uh-oh, uh-oh, always taking off her clothes / Trouble, trouble when her lips touch mine / Only had to happen one time."

'Trouble' was co-written by Season 9 'American Idol' contestant Alex Lambert and producer Busbee, who has penned hits like Kelly Clarkson's 'Dark Side' and Haley Reinhart's 'Free.'

Rene made a name for himself last fall on the first U.S. season of 'X Factor,' where he made it all the way to the final week before finishing third behind Melanie Amaro and Josh Krajcik. Rene signed a deal with Epic Records, and earlier this year he released a video for 'Young Homie,' the self-penned song that served as his 'X Factor' audition.
