Christina Aguilera chose to perform her own hit 'Beautiful' for her duet with her team's finalist, Beverly McClellan, on tonight's final competitive episode of 'The Voice.'

"I decided on my own song 'Beautiful' to perform with Beverly because I knew she was the right person to inspire people in her own way," explained Aguilera.

"For Christina to share this song with me as a duet, I feel so honored," said McLellan. "I'm speechless."

During the rehearsals, the pair were joined by the tune's songwriter, Linda Perry, who also played guitar during the live performance.

McLellan started off the song, showing a softer side of her vocals than previously seen on 'The Voice.' Aguilera kept her vocals relatively restrained, making sure she didn't overpower McClellan. The result was a very tender performance of the inspirational ballad.
