Christina Aguilera fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The 'Beautiful' songstress isn't being fired from her gig as a judge on NBC's 'The Voice,' despite several reports from media outlets saying that she was about to get the boot.

The rumors didn't have anything to do with the upcoming second season of the singing competition, which is set to premiere on Feb. 5, 2012 following the broadcast of Super Bowl XLVI. Instead, sites like E! Online were reporting that Aguilera might get axed before the network started filming the third season.

NBC quickly shot down the rumors, saying that Aguilera is still signed on to 'The Voice,' and is already under contract for the second season. "There is absolutely no truth to the rumor," said Paul Telegdy, NBCs Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming, in an official statement (via People).

It's a good thing, too! Who would keep fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green in check? There needs to be some estrogen on that show, and we are happy Xtina will still be there to represent the women.
