Christina Aguilera Featured on New Maroon 5 Single

Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine may engage in some friendly sparring on 'The Voice,' but now the two stars are teaming up for a new Maroon 5 single called 'Moves Like Jagger.'

The coaches will premiere the song with a live performance on the next episode of the hit NBC series on Tuesday, June 21, and the track will be available for download on iTunes following the broadcast.

“The guys and I recorded this track in L.A. last month and it was great getting to work with Christina on it as well," Levine said in a press release. "We are excited to perform it for our fans on ‘The Voice’ this Tuesday and on the road this summer.”

Aguilera put her competitiveness aside and shared an equally happy sentiment about the new song. “Collaborating with Adam and Maroon 5 on this great song was a wonderful opportunity and I am looking forward to performing with him live on ‘The Voice,’” she added.

According to the press release, 'Moves Like Jagger' is a "quintessential Maroon 5 power pop hit with an upbeat, funky tune and catchy lyrics." The band will kick off a co-headlining North American tour with Train next month, beginning on July 22 in Chula Vista, Calif.
