There's two key pieces of information floating around regarding 'The Voice,' which nabbed monster ratings following the Super Bowl on Sunday (Feb. 5). Coach Christina Aguilera has reportedly signed on for a third season, with producers at NBC hoping to retain all three of her male co-conspirators. But the bigger news is the fact that the show's third season may air this fall, as opposed to 2013, to take advantage of its raging popularity.

The Wrap reports that Xtina is the first of the coaches the re-up for the third season. While some sources indicate that the deal is worth $10 million, an insider close to the situation says the actual figure falls south of that. She will tape shows from September through December, which would seem to mean that the show's third season would air at that time, opposite the ratings challenged and soon-to-be-revamped 'X Factor.'

An NBC rep could not confirm whether or not the show would air in the fall, but insiders say a fall slot is being heavily considered.

The show is duking it out with 'American Idol' this season and could go mano y mano with 'X Factor' in a few months. 'The Voice' may well be the reality talent show that could topple them all!
