Christina Grimmie started gaining attention from her YouTube covers, performing songs from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and many more. Now, the YouTube starlet is making her official debut as a recording artist with her album 'Find Me,' which features her lead single 'Advice.'

'Advice' features a poppy, electronic beat with rhythmic beating 808 snares and swirling synth. In the song, 17-year-old Grimmie offers up some slightly cliche yet uplifting words of wisdom to her listeners.

"Don't look down / Because it's easier falling from force / Just letting it take natures course / And picking it up when it's over," Grimmie sings in the first verse, showing off her vocal chops.

When the song reaches the chorus, Grimmie audibly displays that she is one the most promising teen stars to emerge in the past few months, considering that she actually has a really, really good voice, hitting big notes on verses like, "Take a chance now / 'Cause it's easy / Take a chance now for you and me / Take a chance now / You can reach it! / Take a chance for me!"

Although the beat in 'Advice' is very generic, and the lyrics are less than stellar, Grimmie has managed to churn out a catchy pop song that we're sure most of you will be jamming to all summer long. However, if you have a more refined taste in pop music, this one may get a little annoying on repeat.

When it all comes down to it, Grimmie is making huge strides since her days as a YouTube cover artist. There is no denying that she has a great voice, and we think she will continue to grow as her career takes off.
