Ciara Princess Harris, better known as just Ciara, was born in Austin, Texas, but she traveled around the world with her family -- her dad was in the military -- before they finally settled down in Atlanta.

After years of performing at talent shows, a chance meeting with ATL producer Jazze Pha led to him producing her first demo. That tape landed in the hands of L.A. Reid, who eventually signed her to his label LaFace Records.

Her 2004 debut album, 'Goodies,' boasts three hit singles: the title track, '1, 2 Step' and 'Oh.' With 'Goodies,' Ciara was crowned the "First Lady of Crunk&B." After releasing four successful albums, CiCi is still on her music grind. The 27-year-old songbird recently dropped her new single, 'Body Party,' from her upcoming fifth album, 'One Woman Army.'

Outside of music, Ciara has been dabbling in acting, with a recurring role on BET's sitcom 'The Game.' Ciara's love life is also heating up, as she is currently dating in-demand ATL rapper Future.
