Ciara’s Son Future Zahir Stars With His Mom in ‘I Got You’ Video

Ciara has not been shy about sharing photos of her baby boy, Future Zahir. From her pregnancy to the moment he was born, the Jackie singer is one proud mama. And now she's given us an even more personal view at her journey to motherhood in her new video for "I Got You."

Directed by Jordan Taylor Wright, the video kicks off with a homemade clip where Ciara tells her parents, Jackie and Carlton Harris, that she's six months pregnant followed by her version of the classic lullaby "Hush, Little Baby." The video then goes on to show a number of other camera phone recordings of Baby Future Zahir and Ciara including swimming in the pool, goofing around on the floor and at photo shoots. Ciara even takes us into the studio where she worked on the actual track and sings it while having Future Zahir sitting on her lap.

And if you think the video will make you melt, the song itself tugs hard at the heart strings. The lyrics are promises that Ciara makes to her son, and it'll definitely make you grab a Kleenex. "I got your back, I got you / I take your side, I lay my life down for you / I'll crawl over broken glass, I will stand in the flame / Take the bullet, take the blows, I would take all the pain / Anything, anything that you gotta get through / Hey, hey, I got you," she sings in the chorus.

The R&B songstress told People why this particular tune is an important one. “This song is very special to me as it’s dedicated to my son. I cried in the process of recording [it]. This album truly marks one of the most special times in my life.”
