Cobra Starship Look to ‘True Romance’ for Inspiration in ‘#1Nite’ Feat. My Name Is Kay Video

Cobra Starship channel Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in the 1993 cult classic 'True Romance' in their brand new video for '#1Nite,' featuring My Name Is Kay. Cobra Starship's Gabe Saporta as Clarence and Kay as Arquette's Alabama are cute and fun, and not nearly as dangerous or as predisposed to the drugs, drama and violence of their source material!

The vid is a fast-paced romp, where the couple shops at a convenience mart, nabbing new threads in the form of ugly Hawaiian-style shirts and purchasing life-sized stuffed animals, which they pile in the back of their convertible Mini Cooper. Eagle-eyed viewers will notice the 'True Romance' vanity license plate on the car.

The duo hits the arcade, playing the claw game trying to win more stuffed animals. When they see a sign that reads "No Trespassing," what do they do? They ignore the warning and do whatever they feel like doing. Rebels, we tell ya!

Next up on their road trip docket is Las Vegas, where they snuggle, dance and hit the diner. Like any crazy couple in love.
