Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid Break Up Again

Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid have decided to break up again, E! News reported.

While breakups are hard, reps for the pop singer and model say that it was mutual and had to happen so both Cody and Gigi could focus on their own careers.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," Hadid's rep said in a statement to E! News. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

The rep also added, "They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters."

This isn't the first time that the two young red carpet regulars have broken up. After initially getting together in 2013, Cody and Gigi were going strong, or at least, they were trying to despite their growing careers and crazy schedules. However right before they hit the one year mark, the two headed straight to splitsville for the first time because it was hard to actually see each other.

The two did remain friends and Cody also admitted that he still saw a future with the Sports Illustrated model. The two got back together after six months and were last scene as a couple at Coachella last month.

As sad as this news is, we wish Cody and Gigi the best of luck. And maybe they will get back together in the future.
