Coldplay took on Austin City Limits over the weekend, where they performed a medley of tracks from their brand-new album, 'Mylo Xyloto,' due out on Oct. 24.

On Sept. 16, the British rockers took the stage at the annual Texas festival, where they played to a pumped up crowd at Austin's Zilker Park. In addition to performing hits like 'Viva La Vida,' the band graced the audience with a sampling of tunes from their fifth studio album, including 'Paradise' and 'Charlie Brown.'

It's clear the Grammy-winning group is all about the promotion of their forthcoming record, as they also premiered another new track called 'Up in Flames' the night before. Thus far, fans have been privy to two official singles from 'Mylo Xyloto' -- the aforementioned 'Paradise' and 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall.'

The new album is the follow-up to 2008's 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends,' which won Best Rock Album at the 2009 Grammys. Its hit single 'Viva La Vida' also earned the band Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.

Coldplay will continue its festival run with appearances at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, Music Midtown and Rock In Rio in the coming weeks.
