Coldplay vs. The Script – Battle of the Brits, Round 2

Congratulations to Coldplay and the Script, who have advanced to Round 2 in PopCrush's Battle of the Brits! Both bands have that pop-driven, alt rock sound, and both have an army of devoted fans, which should make this round of voting interesting.

During Round 1 of Battle of the Brits, Coldplay were duking it out with fellow epic music-makers Florence + the Machine. Although their music is inspiring and anthemic, Florence Welch and co. just couldn't take out Chris Martin and his Coldplay cronies, who ended up with 85% of the votes.

Then there's the Script, fronted by former 'Voice' coach Danny O'Donoghue, who took on Bastille in Round 1 of Battle of the Brits. There's no doubt the 'Pompeii' rockers are an amazing band, but the Script fans really dominated this poll. The 'Millionaires' hailing from the Emerald Isle ended up with more than 75% of the total votes.
